The Bible says King David was a giant-killer, an incredible song writer,and a man given to passionate mistakes. But the Bible also says David was “a man after God’s own heart.”

There are others in the Bible who could also claim such a description: men, women, teens … even children. Apparently, it is possible to find God’s heart! However, the Bible also provides examples of people who missed the goal by miles. Most were in the right place, at the right time, but they made disastrous faith choices. Since we know their stories, we have the opportunity to avoid their mistakes.

The search for God’s own heart continues. It’s my search, and has been for more than half a century. If you’re also on the search for God’s heart, welcome. Perhaps some of the resources you can find here will help us both along the journey.
